Premier Brokers Cook Up
Donations for Food Pantries
In the process of developing a new website for their commercial real estate brokerage business (www.profit-success.net), partners Bruce Kaplan and Joseph Billitteri of Premier Commercial Realty decided to offer ad space to service providers of businesses related to a commercial real estate transaction. This cross marketing concept blossomed into a fundraising opportunity for the Cary and Crystal Lake Food Pantries.
As a condition of getting a link on the “Power Team” website, vendors such as banks, surveyors, accountants, lawyers, etc. donated $200 each to be on the site. “Thus far we have been able to donate over $3000 to the food pantries,” stated Kaplan, who jointly came up with the idea. “We hope to do this on an annual basis and if our select vendors get some business from it, they will no doubt want to continue with the program,” Kaplan added. “We’re proud to be able to give back to our home towns,” said Billitteri who lives with his family in Crystal Lake.
The following businesses have participated thus far in the Select Vendor Program:
Approved Comfort, Inc.
Benchmark Environmental Services, Inc.
Bollinger, Lach and Associates, Inc.
Collins Construction Services, Inc.
Crystal Lake Bank
Dorion-Gray Retirement Planning, Inc.
DSR Construction Co.
